Apple Valley Hillbilly Gardens and Toyland is a throw back to old by-gone tacky roadside stops that existed in the 1940s -1960s. There is an old Gulf gas station and store (museum) and a toyland with over 3000 toys in a working diorama. Take a walk around the eclectic junk art and Hillbilly Gardens. We are located one mile east of I24 exit 16 on HWY 68 W.

Depends on your style and tastes because it definitely is a little eerie! If you like weird, though, it'll be a good place to visit. It will definitely be something we will always remember, but...

We went on a winter day so the weather was not the best for the tour. I would probably ask for a tour so you understand there thoughts on the displays. When they would tell you it made you laugh....

This is pretty amazing and while I've seen some things like it such as the Hartman Rock Garden in Springfield OH...

Not at all what we expected. We were thinking maybe a few "yard art sculptures"... a couple fun photo ops.... that was the least of what was there! Amazingly entertaining! Fun, punny, well thought...
