John C. Bambenek is an experienced psychiatrist who is Board Certified in Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He attended Macalester College for undergraduate work in Psychology. He attended medical school at the University of Minnesota and graduated in 1985. Internships, Residencies, and Child Fellowship work were completed at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC.Dr. Bambenek was Chief of Psychiatry at West Point, NY, Medical Director of Charter Hospital in Lake Charles, LA and later Medical Director at Charter Hospital Evansville and Brentwood Meadows in Newburgh.He has maintained a private practice since 1990 and opened his private practice in Evansville Indiana in 1997. He works with an experienced team of mental health professionals at Evansville Psychiatric Associates. Dr. Bambenek works primarily with children and finds fulfillment in helping children and impacting life for happier families.
