Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library is a center for fulfilling the educational needs by books and newspapers. It offers a fully searchable database of up to 2,000 full-text, electronic newspapers, including international, national and local newspapers. Its reader's corner section offers books, including fiction, nonfiction and audiobooks. It has an area for young adults called David J's Place with carpet, lounge furniture and chairs. The children s section offers basic reference materials, including encyclopedias, almanacs and dictionaries and a wide selection of books for the youth. It also offers facilities of computer training and a cafeteria. Established in 1870, Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library is located in Topeka, Kan.

Watch out for Greg Gaul the library cop. The Beatles and John Lennon's estate called Topeka. They want their royalties for ripping off their submarine idea.

Very good! Everything is clean, the staff is friendly. Sometimes things are misshelved or lost and I haven't tried the café but feel the menu could use something. Look forward to coming here after...
