The Cedars is a nonprofit residential facility that offers health care services and support programs to senior citizens. Located in McPherson, Kan., its campus is spread over an area of more than 50 acres. It provides independent and assisted living programs to more than 300 individuals. Its Medicare-and Medicaid-certified nursing center offers medication monitoring, case management and therapeutic treatment. It provides support programs and psychiatric treatment for persons suffering from dementia. The organization assists in personal care, housekeeping, transportation and meal preparation and offers dietetic counseling services. In addition, it provides Bible study programs and offers religious and pastoral services. It also organizes a variety of activities that include movie screening, book reading, and art and craft.
