Her passion led her to attaining a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida and then to become a Registered Nurse. As a Registered Nurse, she was privileged to work in critical care. Feeling she could have a more impactful role in a patient's health, she received her Master's in Nursing from the University of Florida. Megan Feighny, MSN, APRN-C graduated from Washburn University in 2013 with her Master's Degree as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. Prior to graduation, she worked as a Registered Nurse in the Critical Care Unit at Stormont-Vail hospital for 5 years. After graduation, she worked as a Trauma Nurse Practitioner in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was eager to get back to her roots and move closer to home, so she returned to Kansas in 2017. Over the last 5 years, she has worked as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at Valeo Behavioral Healthcare. She is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and loves to share her passion for health with others. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family, staying active, and teaching and taking yoga.
