I got into cardiology because it's challenging but very rewarding. My favorite part of my job is how many friendships I've made with patients and co-workers over the years. I establish trust with my patients by taking time to get to know them, listening to them and treating them like I would my own family.

I decided to be a physician assistant in order to take care of patients and improve their quality of life. When patients come in to see me, they can expect me to take time to listen to them and get down to the route of their problem. Then form a plan of care that is right for them to improve their situations. I strive to do a good job for my patients as they are my family members, friends and people I grew up with.
