Jayhawk Concrete Finishing was started in 1968 in Lawrence, Kansas by Stan Tiemeyer. We have been providing quality placement and finishing of concrete projects for both residential and commercial since that date. Chris Perkins joined the staff in 1997 and eventually became a partner. When decorative concrete started to enter our area of the country we were very excited to get involved. The possibilities were endless. It allowed us to get creative with design color and textures of stamped concrete, acids and acrylic stains and concrete sawing. Traditional concrete is still our primary line of business.
