Dr. Axel Thors is certified by the American Board of Surgery with a subcertification in vascular surgery. He completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Good Samaritan Hospital Tri Health. Dr. Thors is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in General and Vascular Surgery. Dr. J. Paul Schroeppel is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with a subcertification in sports medicine. He completed a fellowship at the TRIA Orthopedic Center. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. As a central Kansas native, he grew up in Hutchinson before attending The University of Kansas for his undergraduate degree. During his fellowship in Minneapolis, he assisted in the care of professional athletes from all four major professional teams in the Twin Cities area. As head team orthopedist for the Kansas City Chiefs and part of the care team for the Kansas City Royals, he works with a multidisciplinary t
