Established in 1956, Mid-States Steel Corp. is a privately owned company into structural steel construction of simple and complex architectural shapes catering to customers throughout the United States. Based in Boone, Iowa, the firm s product basket includes beams, flats, sheets, pipes, decks, rounds and gratings to name a few. Housing a production facility covering more than 72,000 square feet, its capabilities comprise computer numerical cutting machines, in-process material handling, beam splitters, press brakes, shears, burning, welding and sawing to name a few.
