Brittany Muller, PA-C

Nicole Ruhland, PA-C joined The Iowa Clinic Gynecologic Oncology department because of the superb reputation of the clinic and providers. She was eager to continue her career alongside them. Growing up in an area where women’s health was not very accessible, Nicole wanted to work in a field that created a safe space in which those topics would be open for discussion. While in school, Nicole had a passion for oncology, so combining her love of women’s health with her clinical interest made sense for her. The ability to make an uncomfortable or scary situation better for her patient is something she finds most rewarding – whether it’s explaining an exam or providing education about a diagnosis. Outside of work, Nicole enjoys swimming, running, quilting, baking, and partaking in a community band.

Danielle Peak, ARNP joined The Iowa Clinic Podiatry department in 2025, bringing over a decade of healthcare experience. She chose The Iowa Clinic for its strong focus on interdisciplinary teamwork and commitment to providing exceptional care for patients and their families. Danielle finds the most rewarding part of her job to be building meaningful relationships with her patients and their families, understanding their unique needs, and seeing them successfully graduate from her care.

Matt Pearson, PA-C joined The Iowa Clinic Gastroenterology department in 2025. Growing up in central Iowa, he was drawn to TIC’s strong reputation for patient-centered care and its commitment to high-quality medicine. Throughout his training in PA school, he developed an interest in Gastroenterology, where he saw the impact of building long-term patient relationships. For Matt, the most rewarding part of his job is taking the time to truly listen to his patients and ensure they feel heard.
