Westlane Middle School

Westlane Middle School is a four-star school providing educational instruction to students in grades six through eight. The school has an enrollment of more than 700 students and is a part of the Metropolitan School District Washington Township. It has athletic teams for various sports, including baseball, basketball, softball, wrestling and track and field. The school also provides several extracurricular activities, such as African American Scholars Club, National Junior Honor Society, science Olympiad, student council, chess club and yearbook. Its media center assists students in developing the skills necessary to locate, evaluate and use information and to promote reading for research and for pleasure. Its parent-teacher association sponsors various family events and academic enrichment programs throughout the school year. Westlane Middle School is located in Indianapolis.
