The physicians of Beacon Medical Group Cleveland Road diagnose and treat patients of all ages and provide a wide range of services. For your convenience, x-ray, EKG and laboratory services are offered on-site. The laboratory and x-ray services at Beacon Medical Group Cleveland Road are offered Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Beacon Medical Group Cleveland Road is a multi-specialty clinic that includes family medicine with obstetrics, pediatrics, podiatry and nephrology, which together provide continuous and coordinated care to improve the health or you and your family throughout your lifetime. Our team will address your health care needs, including referrals to other medical professionals.In the event that you are admitted to Memorial Hospital, some of our physicians utilize the services of hospitalists to ensure you receive the highest quality care while hospitalized. Hospitalists are physicians who are board-certified in internal medicine or family medicine and who oversee the care of hospitalized patients.

Dr. Hanberg is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Loyola University Medical Center.

Mike has always had a strong interest in surgery. He feels that the procedures he performs directly improve the patient. “It’s much different than treating blood pressure and seeing a number change. Someone can walk in with a problem and walk out with a set of sutures and their problem is gone.” The immediate change provides patients with a sense of success and provides Mike with a sense of accomplishment. He has a special interest in soft tissue lesion removal and treatment as well as complex post-surgical care. In his time away from the practice, Mike likes to participate in outdoor sports and athletics.
