Kesling Intermediate School

Kesling Middle School, located in La Porte, Ind., provides the social, academic and cultural needs for students. Governed by the LaPorte Community School Corporation, it teaches classes from six through grade eight, and enrolls more than 700 students. The school provides a wide range of activities, including science Olympiad, national geography bee, spelling bees, Indiana math league, future problem solving, super bowl, knowledge masters, and name that book. It also offers a wide range of athletic activities that include basketball, cross-country, soccer, tennis, track, volleyball, wrestling and cheerleading. The school provides an intensive program for every student and extensive curriculum that follows state standards and district guidelines. Kesling Middle School has various clubs and associations, such as art, chess and dare clubs, yearbook, student council, jazz bands, and newspaper.
