James Redshaw, MD, began practicing in 2021 and has completed a fellowship in Orthopedics Sports Medicine. He is a fellow of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. "I first knew I wanted to go into medicine after several interactions with the healthcare system as a child. Unfortunately, my grandfathers went through episodes in the hospital with their declining health, and all I remember feeling was how helpless I was to do anything or have any impact. After those experiences, I vowed I would never go through that feeling of helplessness again. "It's been wonderful to positively impact peoples' lives on such a personal level throughout my career. Forging those relationships and getting people back in the game after suffering an injury, accident, or mishap has been extremely rewarding and motivating."
