Seymour Middle School is part of Seymour Community Schools that comprises elementary, middle and high schools. Located in Seymour, Ind., the middle school provides academic and extracurricular services to students from grade six through eight. It offers a broad academic curriculum which includes math, science, language arts, American history, general music, visual arts, industrial technology , and health, family and consumer science. The school s athletic programs include cheerleading, football, tennis, cross country, basketball, wrestling and swimming. Seymour Middle School s athletic facility includes wrestling room, swimming pool, gymnasium, football field and tennis courts. Additionally, the school provides PRIDE periods, where students participate in recreational activities like reading, decorating classrooms and playing games.
