The Department of Streets and Sanitation is governed by the city government of Chicago in Illinois. The department also operates through the bureaus of forestry, traffic services and street operations. The Department of Streets and Sanitation s division of neighborhood services participates in community meetings and workshops in various part of the city to inform the public about various programs and services.
