Harrison Elementary School

Clay Intermediate Center offers classes in life skills, business, home economics, technology, and health and physical education. The school has a foreign language department that provides instruction in French and Spanish. Its extracurricular activities include orchestra, band, music, speech and choir. Clay Intermediate Center provides academic programs to students in grades five through eight. The school has sports teams in cross country, volleyball, football, basketball, wrestling, soccer, softball, track and baseball. Its parent-teacher-student association is active in various fundraising events and organizes counseling sessions and competitions.

Located in Wakarusa, Ind., Madison Elementary School offers a range of educational programs to more than 150 students in kindergarten through grade five. Founded in 1924, it employs over 10 staff members. The school maintains a library and media center that stocks books and periodicals. Its facilities also include a gymnasium, computer laboratory, cafeteria, and project activity, art, music and multipurpose rooms. The school organizes several athletic activities that include football, basketball, softball, baseball, cross-country, tennis, soccer, and track and field. In addition, it operates a parent-teacher organization that conducts several fundraising events and programs. The school conducts a variety of activities that includes science fairs and spell bowl competitions. Madison Elementary School is a part of Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation, which governs various educational institutions.
