Jasper County Public Library is located in northwest Indiana halfway between Indianapolis and Chicago just off of I-65. With three library locations we serve all of Jasper County except for Carpenter Township. Our Wheatfield Library has a lovely wetland area complete with native plantings. This library also features a permanent display of Native American arrowheads.

With three library locations we serve all of Jasper County except for Carpenter Township. Our main library in Rensselaer is home to the Civil War General Robert H. Milroy Collection. Gen. Milroy's personal effects, uniform, and gear from the war are displayed. The Rensselaer library also offers the following services: Computers available for internet use/Office software use/Educational Games, free WiFi and Wireless Printing, Charging Towers and Docking Stations, and Faxing. If you are into Geocaching, our library has a geocache hidden!
