Burris Laboratory School

Burris Laboratory School provides educational and extracurricular programs to more than 450 students in grades kindergarten through 12. The curriculum offered by the school includes mathematics, science, history, social studies, English, art and physical education. The school offers summer enrichment workshops that include stitching, poetry, geophysics, astronomy, art and cooking. It also offers a variety of sports programs, such as basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, soccer, track and cross country, baseball, tennis and golf. The school has partnerships with museums, an exchange program with a Japanese University Laboratory School, a variety of service learning initiatives, a high school May Term of evolving curriculum and K-12 participation in electronic field trips.
