Probably the best food I've had in years. Good drinks, and great service.!!! Really cool ambience too. I love the fire and the setting was so serene.

Tucked away in the historic district of downtown Angola, Indiana, the Bar itself has been there for over 90 years, the former McCools building. We offer great cocktails with friendly service. Been there twice because we had gift certificates. Both times were underwhelming in both food and service. They really don't seem to give a damn about either.

1st time visit here. The decor & fireplace were a pleasant surprise, the old McCools was worn out & tired. Service from Aaron was great. Best part of my meal was the homemade chicken noodle soup....
