Barker Middle School

Barker Middle School is a public institution that imparts education to more than 400 students in grades six through eight. The school provides academic courses in math, music, health and physical education, reading, English, science, social studies, computer applications and basic skills. Barker Middle School offers a variety of athletic activities, including volleyball, baseball, basketball, soccer, softball, and track and field. The school has a library media center that supports the school curriculum, assists students in the use of current and appropriate information and encourages reading as a lifetime activity. Barker Middle School is a part of Michigan City Areas Schools and is located in Michigan City, Ind.
