After my parents decided to open a bakery, I decided that I wanted to hone my baking skills a little bit. I started going through and looking for culinary schools in the area, and I found one that specialized in baking and pastry. It was incredible to learn the basics from true pastry chefs, and I was really pleased with how great I did in school. When I was finally finished with my formal training, it was incredible to see how much of a difference that little detail on my resume made. This blog is all about understanding proper baking principles.
