The West Bend News is a local publication of Paulding County, Ohio. We started publishing our first newspaper the last week of August 2005. Since 2005 we have added other routes and areas including Hicksville Route 1, Defiance Routes 5 & 8 and all of Woodburn including the Routes and PO Boxes. At this time we print 11 500 newspaper per week! Each year, except in 2005, we publish 51 issues. Due to the fact that many businesses shutdown, families are traveling and school is out, we do not publish the week between Christmas and New Years. Even though the newspaper is not sent out we are still open, of course, with limited hours based upon the holidays.
