University Laboratory High School is a part of the University of Illinois campus. Its academic curriculum includes computer science, English, fine arts, math, social studies, physical education and foreign languages. The school has a staff of more than 40 teachers and secretaries, as well as a guidance counselor and librarian. University Laboratory High School operates a student council, booster club and parent-teacher organization. In addition, it conducts several extracurricular events, including dances, social events, recitals, assemblies, picnics and movie nights. The school also offers financial assistance and scholarship services. University Laboratory High School additionally organizes basketball, baseball, soccer, track and field, volleyball and cross-country activities.
