Swan

Established in 1964, Swan Corp. is a privately owned business that develops, manufactures and markets high-performance surfacing materials and products for the bath and kitchen. It caters to markets including housing, restaurants, military, health care and educational institutes. The company started business by developing a doorless, shell-shaped shower and then introduced its Swanstone brand, a line of vanity tops and bowls in the late 1980s. Since then, Swanstone line has expanded to include a wide variety of kitchen sinks, countertops, tub, shower walls, tabletops, countertops, mop service sinks and windowsills for the restaurant industry. The Swan Corp. is based in St. Louis, Mo., with manufacturing facilities in Centralia, Ill. The company's Swanstone and Veritek products have earned certifications including GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification and the GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certification from the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute.
