Maryville Academy is one of the oldest residential child care facilities in the United States. Formerly known as St. Mary's Training School for Boys, the academy has been operational for more than 100 years. Maryville offers special programs and treatments for physically, sexually and emotionally abused and neglected children, and at-risk youth. Approved by the Council on Accreditation, Maryville has branch locations in Chicago, Des Plaines, Bartlett and Durand, Ill.
