The Center for Independence is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children and young adults with disabilities achieve their highest level of independence through intensive motor therapy and supportive community programs. With a transdisciplinary team of experienced therapists, the Center offers a minimum of six hours of therapy each week, significantly more than traditional one-hour sessions, to foster essential life skills and motor function development. Committed to breaking down barriers to employment, the Center also provides job training and placement for young adults with developmental disabilities.
