Micheal S. Young, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon dedicated to providing skilled, compassionate care to patients throughout central Illinois. With more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Young is committed to helping patients feel comfortable and confident at every stage of their care. He specializes in general surgery, breast surgery, hernia repair, laparoscopic procedures, colonoscopy and wound management, and believes in listening to his patients, answering their questions and working together to create the best possible treatment plan. He enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the outdoors, reading and staying active through cycling and hiking. He is an avid dog lover and loves football.
