Marissa Anderson, MD

There’s a whole spectrum of cardiac conditions. For many of them, a patient’s own behavior can have a real impact in helping to treat or slow progression of the disease. I enjoy interacting with patients about the lifestyle changes they can make to help themselves. It gives them a sense of empowerment, and that’s very rewarding.

H. Steven Sims, MD, is a laryngologist at Rush. He specializes in treating problems with the larynx, or voice box. As a musician and singer, Sims is passionate about caring for performing artists, teachers, clergy, call center workers and anyone who uses their voice to do their job. He also treats patients who have problems with swallowing and breathing related to the vocal cords.
