Mamma Onesta’s Italian Restaurant opened in Lockport, Illinois on March 19, 2008. The restaurant is owned and run by Frank and Mary DeGrassi and family. Mamma Onesta’s translates to “Honest Mother” in Italian. The restaurant was named after Frank’s mother, a hard working and honest woman, Erminia DeGrassi. A second Mamma Onesta’s location was established in Canton, Georgia on July 10, 2017. The Georgia location is owned by the Degrassi and Buonauro family and operated by the Buonauro family, Mario & Melanie Buonauro. Mamma Onesta’s offers a quality dining experience for various occasions. Good food. I liked the lasagna and the stuffed shells. Some time ago I had the colossal shrimp and it was great. Not sure if it's always available.

We've been to this restaurant several times and overall it's very good. But a few comments: your rolls with the garlic butter is a nice touch, but your rolls need to be less than a few days old....
