Since its inception in 1972, Northern Products Company has been designing and producing packaging devices since its establishment, to protect the product from damage during storage or shipping. Based in Alsip, Ill., the company provides a range of services, including design and development, die cutting, laminating, convoluting, molding, computer numerical controlled (CNC) cutting, repackaging of bulk liquids and foam heat bonding. Some of the packaging materials available at Northern Products Company include foam, wood, corrugated, plastic corrugated and specialty. It utilizes state-of-the-art enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and computer aided design (CAD) system to schedule, control production and protect the fragility and integrity of the product from shock vibration, finish abrasion effects and aesthetic requirements.
