Lombard Public Works

Located in Lombard, Ill., the Public Works Department owned and operated by the Village of Lombard and offers infrastructure maintenance services. The department provides water main replacement, mosquito abatement, and street sweeping and paving services. It administers contracts for the landscape restoration of utility digs, mowing and weeding, area tree trimming, vegetation planting and stump removal. The Public Works Department s underground utilities division maintains the water distribution and sewer collection systems. The department s engineering staff provides construction management services for capital improvement and maintenance projects. In addition, it offers maintenance services for water, sanitary and storm mains, as well as fire hydrants and valves.
