HistoryVirtuoso Performing Arts, founded and run by sisters, Carrie Bohlmann (Polack), Annie Conway (Polack) and Margaret Thompson (Polack), opened its doors in 2004. Miss Carrie, Annie and Margaret embrace a profound passion for the arts and are grateful for the positive role that a performing arts education has played in all aspects of their lives. In January of 2004, they realized their dream of opening a studio where students of all ages could come to learn a wide range of the performing arts under one roof. VPA proudly offers Dance, Acting, Voice and Music instruction to boys and girls, both recreational and pre-professional.SpecialtiesVirtuoso Performing Arts is home for all beginning, aspiring and experienced dancers, actors and musicians. VPA has been offering performing arts classes and lessons to students of all ages in the northern suburb communities of Chicago for over a decade. Whether you are looking to take your first performing arts class or have already dedicated yourself to your craft, we will help you further develop your talents. Our main goal is to enrich the minds, bodies and souls of students through the medium of the performing arts. Join us at our brand new facility, which features even larger dance studios and music rooms, as well as an on-site theater and comfortable space for parents and siblings to wait during class! Classes at Virtuoso allow students to develop mastery through professional and fun instruction. All of our faculty are highly trained and have professional performing experience. Our dance, acting and tumbling classes are open to kids and teens; the School of Music accepts musicians ages 7 and up, including adults. Virtuoso Performing Arts - founded by sisters Annie, Carrie and Margaret - is dedicated to providing a disciplined and motivating environment to train students of the performing arts. We believe in balancing proper technique with creative self-expression. We instill a sense of discipline, positive self-esteem and a comprehensive knowledge of the performing arts in our students.
