Established in 1952, Lake in the Hills Village Hall serves residents and businesses with a range of services and amenities. It operates administrative, finance, police, public works, community development, and parks and recreation departments. The village provides municipal water, fire protection, sanitary, and refuse and recycling services. Lake in the Hills Village Hall also offers facility rental and street maintenance services. Its public works department is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of airport, water supply system, parkways, trees, signs, sidewalks, lakes, beaches, dams and parks. The village s community development department monitors construction and development work throughout the village with health and life safety regulations. Lake in the Hills Village Hall operates a sanitary district that offers wastewater collection and water pollution control services.
