Justin Gent, MD

Harpreet S. Basran, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained sports medicine physician specializing in minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle. A Chicagoland native, Dr. Basran completed fellowships at the University of Chicago and Cornell’s Hospital for Special Surgery. He treats both non-operative and surgical orthopedic conditions, including ligament injuries, meniscal and labral tears, and rotator cuff injuries, offering advanced treatments such as stem cell therapy. Known for his compassionate, patient-focused care, he has worked with the Chicago Blackhawks, U.S. World Cup Soccer, and local schools and colleges.
