History

We first start off by selling tamales in Chicago. We enter a well known Tamale Festival in Chicago called Feria Del Tamal. We then started selling tamales to restaurants and grocery stores. With the demand for great authentic Mexican food, we decided to open our first restaurant in Kankakee Illinois. It also to become a local gem despite its tiny size. The restaurant made it in many different blogs, newspapers, and local conversations as the best in town. We open Isidro's Tamales & Taqueria 2 in 2018. It offers the same great food with more seating than our Kankakee location.
