About Formco Metal Founded in 1973 as a tool source for the Midwest four slide and multislide industry, Formco began producing tools and dies and provided many turnkey operations. Soon our customers began choosing us for their tough jobs. Formco expanded the business and built a solid reputation in the production of metal stampings and wire forms. To accommodate this growing business and to serve our customers better, Formco built a 20, 000 square foot plant in Wood Dale, Illinois just minutes from O'Hare. This new facility assured increased manufacturing efficiency, flexibility and prompt delivery. Our broad base of loyal customers has relied on Formco for quality. AccuFab is a custom steel fabricator servicing the needs of industrial, construction and specialty fabrication sectors of the economy. The company has been in business for more than 20 years and provides miscellaneous metal fabrications for commercial, municipal, and architect-designed residential projects. We remain dedicated to production of the highest quality, provided with unrivaled service.Product Design Support: During the quotation process, all part designs are reviewed for potential control problems. Every attempt is made to identify and inform our customers as to potential production concerns. Alternative part designs may be suggested to improve product quality. Similarly, design features or specifications with high cost implications are challenged with lower cost alternatives.Tooling: Slidematic Products designs, builds, and maintains all tooling. Tooling is designed utilizing our CAD system employing standardized components whenever possible. Design procedures are structured to make full utilization of our state of the art machining centers and EDM services. These techniques assure consistent quality replacement components and duplicate tools, while serving to facilitate modifications when they are required due to part revision.Production: Slidematic Products' production facilities include over 40 Multi-Slides and Fourslides, which can service a wide range of strip and wire products. Our wire capability range is.005 to.187 diameter. Strip capabilities range from.003 x.040 to.090 x 3.000 .Slidematic Products also operates a complete conventional punch press department consisting of 13 presses ranging from 30 tons to 125 tons.
