Federated Bank, formerly known as the Onarga State Bank, was authorized by the state of Illinois to commerce business on Jan. 30, 1918. In 1983, the Onarga State Bank changed its name to Federated Bank of Onarga. In 1985, the bank purchased the Bank of Chebanse and changed all of its names to Federated Bank. The bank serves customers in Bradley, Chebanse, Loda and Onarga, Ill.
