Farm Foundation, NFP, a 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) public charity, serves as a catalyst for sound public policy by providing objective information to foster deeper understanding of issues shaping the future for agriculture, food systems and rural regions. Farm Foundation, NFP does not lobby or advocate. Our 77-year reputation for objectivity allows us to bring together diverse stakeholders for discussions on issues and public policies. Farm Foundation, NFP's primary product is comprehensive, objective information on economic and public policy issues. Through conferences, workshops and Foundation Forums, we bring stakeholders together to discuss evolving issues impacting agriculture, the food system and rural regions. Discussions may include options to address those issues and the potential consequences of those options. Such grants are intended to develop, disseminate and/or publicly present educational materials or scientific research findings which contribute to informed discussions and foster debate, bringing together all stakeholders to foster deeper understanding of issues affecting agriculture, food systems and rural regions. Farm Foundation, NFP is directed by a six-member Board of Directors comprised of leaders in production agriculture, related businesses and academia. Farm Foundation, NFP carries on the legacy of Farm Foundation, a charitable trust originally formed in 1933 that provides oversight and endowment funding.

American Health Information Management Association, located in Chicago, is an association of health information management professionals. The association was established in 1928, and has more than 40,000 members providing management of personal health information for health care needs. It addresses various issues affecting health care, including implementation of electronic health records systems and creation of a national health information network. The association provides various certificates, master s and baccalaureate and associate degree programs approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education. It also offers distance learning programs in health information management, coding, and health care privacy and security. The association also offers a specialty advancement program and courses in applied informatics, such as physics and clinical terminology systems.
