History

Owner and trainer, Michele Meyer, became certified as a dog trainer and opened Dog Gone Good Dog Training Inc. in 2002 as a way to make extra income while spending more time with her beloved Siberian Husky named Persia. Dog Gone Good quickly grew into a full time business by word of mouth and Michele realized dog training was her passion and calling. It is Michele's mission to help people and their dogs live happily and peacefully together and to help keep dogs out of shelters because of behavior problems that can be solved by dog training.

We can help with all of this and so much more! We have awesome puppy and adult dog training programs that include both in-person and virtual training options. Our programs include obedience, house manners, new baby preparation, help with behavior modification (unwanted behaviors like jumping, pulling on the leash, potty training, dog anxiety and fearfulness); as well as 'just for fun' training like dog tricks and dog exercise classes. We have group training classes and private in-home dog training programs.
