Deland-Weldon High School

Argenta-Oreana High School is a part of the Argenta-Oreana School District comprising of approximately 76 square miles of territory in the Macon and DeWitt counties of Illinois. The school district is organized by attendance centers and the high school is located in Argenta, Ill. It has a pupil teacher ratio of 15:1. Students must earn 26 credits for graduation, courses in government, health, consumer education and consumer education, English, math, American history, social studies, art, music, foreign language and vocational education. Physical education is compulsory. Students can participate in extra-curricular activities such as in cheerleading, soccer, football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball and track. Additional opportunities are available in scholastic bowl, the high school newspaper, yearbook, student council and drama.

Meridian High School is a part of Meridian Community Unit School District 15, which governs various primary, middle, intermediate and high schools. Located in Macon, Ill., Meridian High School offers a range of academic and extracurricular options to more than 330 students in grades 9 through 12. Its syllabus includes English, mathematics, natural science, social studies, and health and physical education. The school also offers various sports programs, including basketball, baseball, football, soccer, golf, cheerleading, volleyball, softball, and track and field. It supports the National Honor Society, as well as operates a student council, band, chorus and drama club. The school operates guidance and special education departments, as well as maintains a library and cafeteria.

Oakland High School, also known as OHS, provides learning opportunities for students in grades 7 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes classes in various subjects, such as language arts, reading, math, science, social studies, English, computer education, agriculture and accounting. Oakland High School also administers art, music and physical education programs. It also operates an ecology team. Additionally, the school participates in a range of sports activities, including golf, football, basketball, volleyball and baseball. It is a part of Oakland Community Unit School District 5, which also governs an elementary school division. Oakland High School is located in Oakland, Ill.
