Chicago Public Radio, based in Chicago, is a community-supported, noncommercial public service broadcasting institution. Its stations include the WBEZ 91.5 FM Chicago, the WBEQ 90.7 FM Morris and the WBEW 89.5 FM Chesterton. It broadcasts local, national and international news and public affairs programs. It also airs a selection of internationally, nationally and locally produced programs. Chicago Public Radio broadcasts shows on social, cultural, political and economical issues. It also broadcasts a wide array of jazz, blues and world music. It is a charter member station of the National Public Radio. It produces programs, such as This American Life, Eight Forty-Eight, Wait-Wait Don t Tell Me and the Worldview.

I keep it tuned to this bad boy, 91.5 FM, all day long. And my dog likes to listen to it too, when I'm not home. It gets embarrassing when he wants to discuss something that I'm not up on. My dog...

I like public, non-corporate media. I hope someday they have a story about Glen Holley,who works for vAuto in Oak Brook Terrace. He is not nice.

I live with a teenager, a baby and a man, so I have a near constant combined stream of high-pitched baby songs, high school gossip/Crank Dat Somethingoranother and tedious baseball announcer...

I must have been hit with that drivers seat baptism of the former hotel doorman. I also used to think : "what the hell is 91.5?". But I caught clips f different programs, not only from the car...
