Founded in 1978, the Center for Neighborhood Technology (CNT) is a nonprofit organization that promotes livable and sustainable communities. Headquartered in Chicago, the center develops a variety of projects in the areas of climate, energy, natural resources, transportation and community development. The Center for Neighborhood Technology designs, develops and operates economic development demonstration projects to address urban sustainability in innovative ways.
