History

Our inspiration for starting our pizza business came from a backpacking trip throughout Italy. We visited Naples, the mecca of pizza, which left us with a new love for true Neapolitan pizza. When we got back from Italy, we were inspired to start making our own pizza. We built a brick oven brick by brick in our backyard to take our pizza to another level. Our house is located on a canal, which serves as the genesis for our name Canalside Pizza. We were ready to turn our pizza hobby into a business. We converted a 1976 horse trailer into a mobile brick oven pizza trailer and set out on this new journey selling our pizza. We love our pizza and love to serve it to our customers!
