Founded in 1970, the Bolingbrook Park District supports activities for the spiritual, mental, physical and emotional welfare of individuals. It plans, organizes and conducts leisure activities for individuals of all ages. Located in Bolingbrook, Ill., it organizes several parties and outings, such as pool, imagination and gymnastics. The Bolingbrook Park District offers a variety of recreational events that include serpent safari, shanghai circus, the Chicago auto show, schoolhouse skate and enchanted castle. It also provides financial aid and corporate recreational services. It maintains the Bolingbrook Athletic Council, which is responsible for coordinating between its member organizationsabout the usage of its facilities and sports fields, as well as serves as an advisory board in youth sports matters.
