Black Hawk College Community Education Center

Black Hawk College, located in Kewanee, Ill., offers a variety of educational programs to students. It is a facility of more than 100 acres and has an enrollment of over 800 students. The school has various academic departments, such as agriculture, equine science, and automotive and mechanics. It also offers other courses in business, computer technology, health care and nursing, horticulture, science, applied science and liberal arts. The college helps students by providing financial aid, including scholarships and grants, and employment and job placement opportunities. It assists financially through grants from federal and state government, veterans and private loans. The campus organizes various athletic programs that include swimming, football, volleyball and baseball. The college also has an aquatics center for various extracurricular activity competitions and sports tournaments.
