Avoca School District 37 offers educational programs to more than 19,000 students in kindergarten through grade eight. Established in 1870, Avoca School District 37 serves the Glenview, Northfield, Wilmette and Winnetka communities in Illinois. The district s schools conduct classes in technical education, family and consumer science, math, science, special education, English, history, art and computer science. Avoca School District 37 also offers several sports activities, such as soccer, basketball, wrestling, volleyball, badminton, baseball, softball, and track and field. The district provides a variety of alternative education programs for at-risk students with medical problems and emotional issues. Avoca School District 37 is located in Wilmette, Ill.
