She is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and served a residency in neurology and a fellowship in vascular neurology at the University of Kansas Health System.

Dr. Robert Kraus completed his neurological surgery residency at the University of Illinois, College of Medicine at Peoria, Peoria, IL, in 2003. He completed medical school at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, Maywood, IL, in 1997 and is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.

Our dedicated surgeons practice in specialties including trauma, general, colorectal and breast surgery and are credentialed to perform procedures at Decatur Memorial Hospital as well as the Memorial Outpatient Surgery Center in Decatur. We work closely with referring providers to determine surgical needs and make a diagnosis. The primary focus from consult to follow-up is the patient’s comfort level with understanding the process. Our surgeons treat a wide range of surgical procedures, depending on certification and specialty.
