The Old Boise Model Railroad Club is a captivating attraction located in the basement of the historic Pioneer Building in downtown Boise. Since 2001, the club has been constructing and operating an impressive model railroad that showcases scenes from across the Western U.S., featuring a diverse range of industries, towns, and rail equipment.
With a permanent display spanning over 1,800 square feet, the layout boasts an extensive network of 50 scale miles of track and 210 switches. The club has recently expanded its layout, adding new scenery, industries, and trains, including a stunning canyon section with high bridges and an under-mountain tunnel. Visitors can immerse themselves in the world of railroading and explore the intricacies of the layout by following a moving train around the track.

This was a good n-scale model train display in downtown Boise, ID. I went on a Tuesday night (it was their Open House) to see the trains run. They display a wide range of industrial and nature...
