Heidi Chasan, MD - St Luke's Clinic-the Woman's

Brea Shrum, MD particularly enjoys obstetrics, both routine and high-risk, as well as minimally invasive surgery. She feels fortunate that the practice of obstetrics and gynecology allows her to develop relationships with patients that last many years, through many phases of life. She delivers babies at St. Luke's Boise. Dr. Shrum was born and raised in Boise. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Portland. In her free time, Dr. Shrum enjoys reading, travel, and spending time with friends and family. She enjoys many outdoor activities, and in the summer can often be found boating with her husband, stepson, and their two Labrador retrievers.

Joshua G. Barton, MD is the medical director of St. Luke's Clinic - Center for Pancreatic and Liver Diseases and an associate fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His specialty is the surgical treatment of pancreatic, biliary, liver, and stomach diseases. Dr. Barton actively participates in several professional organizations, including the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract, Pancreas Club, and the American Hepato-Biliary Association.

Gerardo (Jerry) Perez, MD has clinical interest in cervical and endometrial cancer, vulvar cancer and melanoma, vaginal and ovarian cancer, dysplasia/hyperplasia, and gestational trophoblastic disease. His surgical specialties include: laparoscopic, open, and robotic (da Vinci) surgeries; laparoscopic and robotic (da Vinci) hysterectomies and staging procedures; laparoscopic and robotic radical hysterectomies and staging procedures; ovarian cancer; cytoreductive surgery; pelvic exenteration with bladder and neo-vagina reconstruction; open, laparoscopic and robotic repair of failed pelvic floor reconstruction surgeries; radical vulvectomy with myocutaneous flap reconstruction; robotic myomectomy; and vaginal and rectovaginal fistula repairs.
